The lift of the logarithmic spiral becomes at the center of the spiral asymptotic to a vertical line, while the height of the other end of the lift grows a bit faster than quadratically in the radius.

If I had to name the resulting Björling surfaces, I might want to call them Aladdin’s Lamps.
